I will never forget the night I met him...the love of my life....Maluus. He was in my hometown that night at a conference for work. He had been talking to one of my friends and I went with her to meet him. He knew that we would be together when I walked through the door. The night was perfect and we have been together ever since. Maluus and I began our relationship on November 4, 1997; when he took me out for my birthday (which was just a couple of days later). Maluus and I have been through so much together. I never thought that one day I would marry him, but on February 1, 1999, he proposed to me. I would've been stupid not to accept his proposal, so I did.
He is the kindest, gentlest, sweetest man I have ever known. He makes me laugh like no one else can. No one has been able to break us apart, nor will they. We have one thing that a lot of people don't have....we have true love. The sad thing is.....is that most people will never find a true and lasting love like ours.
Before I met Maluus he was very lonely and depressed, but since we have been together he has changed for the better. Everyone comments on how happy I make him and that they haven't ever seen him that happy. He is a great guy that has been through a lot, but I will be there for him for the rest of his life and we both couldn't be more happy than knowing that.
Maluus has changed me for the better. Before I met him, I had given up on men. Men had only caused me pain in the past and I didn't think that I would ever find the REAL THING, so I gave up. Then he came along....I have never been so happy in all my life! So...on November 20, 1999; Maluus and I became husband and wife. People that see Maluus and myself together tell me that we share a special kind of love and it is evident that we are so much in love with each other. Some have even told me that they forgot that kind of love existed and that it gives them hope.
Never give up....just don't look so hard for someone special to love, because when you least expect it.....it happens right in front of you. I am proof of that.
